Can I trust my new friend?



We would never add a new best friend if we didn't know them. All of your friends have also been background checked. We are professionals, and we only hire professionals. Most of your friends are actual travelers and friends of people who travel. 100% live here, where we wait for you.



You speak English and ...?



We typically provide our services either in English or in Spanish.


If a special language is required, let's have a talk and we will try to accomodate it.



Is my new friend an actor or actress?



Nope.


We behave as if you were a friend of ours coming to town, and we honestly want your trip to be the best.



Is sex involved?



Thanks for asking. This is key and very clear: No. No physical and no sexual services are involved.


On the other hand, we say yes to talking, enjoying, visiting, eating, discussing art or business, and even coaching!



I just don't want to walk alone around the city. I hate that. Is this for me?



You are in the right place. The modern world's technology has provided us with a fake sensation of connection that is not comparable to the in-person feeling of sharing a cup of coffee with someone who is friendly, thoughtful, and caring about you.



I am not traveling, can you help me in other matters?



Yes, sure.


Like your best friend would, we can guide you on how to buy property, manage the local bureaucracy, start a business, find a doctor, search for the best school for your kids, organize events, you name it.



Can you pretend to be my friend, partner or relative in front of others?



The answer is no.


Even though that might be a thing in Japan, we want to keep our service fresh and we don't need nor want to lie to anyone about anything.

When shall we decide the itinerary?



As soon as you pay for your reservation we will contact you and have an initial talk (it could also be over Whatsapp). If we are just picking you up/dropping you off, we will get your travel details. If you buy a different service, we will contact you to finalize a tailor-made plan for you.



You charge by the group, right?



Yes. It makes it simpler for everyone.


To accommodate your group, our only restriction is the size of our vehicles. Our standard group size is three people. We can do our best to arrange it if you are traveling with a larger group.



When do I pay?



For making a reservation for you, we need to collect your money in advance. We provide you with payment links at our booking page.


If you requested a special quote, we will provide a tailor-made payment link.



What is included?



Depending on the service, your friend's time, knowledge, caring advise, walking company, or driving accommodations (gas, parking tickets) are included.


If you plan to get, for example, a focaccia we expect you to pay for you and your friend. Entrance fees and other rentals you may need are not included.



What if I don't show up?



Informed cancellations are free of charge up to three days before the confirmed starting date/time. After that, we will only refund you 50% of what you paid if you cancel 24 hours before the starting date/time.



Will you publish pictures of us?



We will take pics for you.

So, we might be willing to share a few over social media.


If so, we will ask your permission before publishing them on social media or websites.
